Topaz ML F3J

The glider is an excellent thermal soarer, very strong yet very light. The wing produces a superb glider angle and gives good penetration with little height loss. The model is a proven design and has been winner of many competitions in the USA.

The Topaz is available as a 3.6 metre F3J competition class X tail glider or electric.
The wings are full carbon D box construction covered with Oracover, with carbon/Kevlar mix leading edge and carbon trailing edge. Carbon spars, carbon wing joiner and carbon capped wing ribs. The ailerons and flaps come ready hinged.

The fuselage pod is a carbon/Kevlar mix while the tail boom is carbon. The rudder and stabilizer are covered with Oracover; rudder is ready hinged while the stabilizer is all moving with all the controls already in place.

The fuselage has an adjustable tow hook already installed and comes with a ballast tube (not installed) that can take 625gm of ballast.

The servos to use are 4 x Hitec HS125/5125 in the wings and 2 x MPX Polo digi 4 (or similar) for the tail.
